Still it rains, but getting better!

Today it was still raining...then the freezing levels seemed to drop and at last we had some snow albeit wet, splatting down in the valley! Ever and Sadie were the troopers today, just the two dogs, and two of us humans plugging through the wet snow. We soon forgot the weather with the antics of the dogs to amuse us, I am trying to work on Ever and her stick manners, and she is SO FUNNY...she is a real princess and her facial expressions and noises are just hilarious - anyone that knows Ever will understand.  She is also a smart girl, and does as she is told so well when she feels like it, but every now and then she dances around goading me refusing to let up...until she suddenly has an attack of conscious, or gets scared by my tone of voice and drops the stick, looks forlornly up at me with white rims around her eyes all worried and puts her ears halfway up and head on one side and tries to speak. It's awesome, and so hard trying to work on her without laughing!

Sadie is great to have along with Ever as she is a little older, wiser, and way more stick savvy -  and she does not get wound up when Ever parades sticks in front of her...nor does she let her take them away. She is so affectionate and a really good girl to have in the pack as she comes immediately when called, even when on squirrel missions...atta girl!

We played in the woods, had a bit of fun with sticks, but pretty much heads down and go today! There were some classic moments with squirrels and sticks for sure though :)

Another great day in dog-land, looking forward to some snow and cooler temps next hike, had to keep the camera under wraps again today! See ya sooooooon, arooooo!  :)
