mmmmm, smells nice...Jayda and Skip inhale the fresh (and probably just peed on!) forest foliage.
Right off the bat it was noses down, tails up!!! You can click to enlarge but here we have from L-R Skipper, Theo, Kayla, Finn, Jayda and Rudy.
Playtimes above, and the camera catches Finn in a long Arooooooo! He held his head up first then trotted towards me 'Aroo-ing'...it lasted about 6 seconds - I LOVE it when he does that!!!
There are still patches of snoo and we spent our time on and off it sniffing the green rocky areas and rolling in the white stuff... the shots below are of us all getting amongst it - they love a group dig, especially when a human of all things joins in! Theo below decided that he did not want to dig, rather do some dog yoga then propel himself through the snow nose first round and round...ha ha, this was a very funny five minutes - after which we were all pretty wet with goofy grins!
Then it was time to climb on...just to get the last of the energy out of the legs before making our way down to the truck :)
Still got heads down sniffing but tails are on the way down now too...we were all getting tired here!
I love this shot..the hike down is so beautiful (especially with dogs in the picture) very Led Zeppelin with swirling mist in patches and fresh forest smells and sounds...I had 'Ramble on' going through my head at this point!
So another awesome day in dog-land...I actually really enjoyed the rain as the Gore-Tex held out, the dogs were stoked as ever and we had a cool time running, digging, rolling and arooooo-ing! See you all next hike!
