Today rocked, at last it was nice and cold, and super sunny - at least if we don't have fresh snow lets have bright and cold that's what I think :) The bonus about the cold is that the snowpack has tightened up and travel is solid! We literally picked a spot on the horizon today and went for it...super cool day, awesome dogs...and the thing I love about them is that the crew today had never met before, and yet 2 mins into the hike they were hanging out like best buddies. Dogs rule, they are loving and simple beings that just want to have fun outside with their friends with no other worry in the world and return home to their people tired out and happy to eat food and sleep until the next time - I can live like that :)
A chilly start as we headed out in the pre-sun morning, the three strangers quickly became buddies! Kayla leading the way, Finny and Bosley in tow...then all three trucking along together! Fin and Kayla howled and barked at each other respectively, and Bos gave the odd small-dog-style-yip for such a big boy, was so funny!
Heading for the sun, we stopped for a drink where Finn broke the ice for he and Bos to drink, Kayla hung out with me apparently not thirsty, and we kept on climbing until at last we were bathed in sunlight, lovely!

Then we dipped into the shade for a bit and Finn an Bosley had a funny five minutes of random gallops before we continued on!
Full gallop!Then we were back in the sun where our spirits were soaring, you could literally feel the stoked energy coming off each of us; I was laughing out loud and talking nonsense to each dog and stopped to give each a cuddle, all tails were up and bright eyes looking about enjoying the day as we bounced along, love it!!
Arooooooooooooooo!I have so many cool pics from today I could spend hours and just post them all :)I will just pick the best ones for today. I have so many amazing shots that don't make it online, I must start a full online album one day!
