We started with a climb to settle them in - Levi at the back of the above shot had the doggy pack on today, doesn't he look smart! Skip leads the way, with Kayla and Ever-bear behind. Here is a mugshot of the lovely Levi:
For the first hour we climbed up and back on a relatively steep but well trodden trail to let me get to know Levi and see how they all interacted without getting tangled in the leash and Alders of the more winding trails. Once I had established that he rocks and that the group vibe was super good, we went back down to our more regular route where squirrelly distractions and winding forested trails are waaaaaay more fun!
We had fun on the woodwork - Kayla being the example of how to cross raised bike trail bridges...she trotted over them like something out of a dog show! Skip decided he would rather roll in the snow, but the others follwed Kayla for the game, me included and Levi seemed to enjoy himself too!
Then after a good two hours of solid fun...we headed back down to the truck where in perfect formation they conveyor-belt loaded the ramp in enough super chilled fashion for me to grab the camera and get a good shot along with holding Levi on leash and and a huge amount of poop bags( keep finding poop on trail, is someone else not collecting it? tut tut!!)
Another wicked day in dog land...the little darlings, see you all tomorrow - arooooo!
Arooooooooooooooooooooooo!
