Another awesome day, with two new friends - Bosley and Finn!
Bosley is a huge , handsome French Mastiff x Rottie - a lovely boy given to bouts of high energy and slow-motion cantering along...well, it just looks slow 'cos he's so big. Finn is a super chill Shep x Husky, given to the odd 'Arooooooo!' and dance about...he does not get involved in the high energy raging that say Ever and Bos had a couple of minutes play at, he dances, romps and sniffs with the others, and settles next to me to watch when exuberance flies with the rest of the pack. A super cool dog, and both of them rock, and I am pleased to welcome them along with us all!
Here is our action-packed start to the hike: Kayla dances, Bosley pee's, Ever and Finn have a good 'ol sniff! Here are the new boys, Finn first, then 'The Boz-man' (a name I cannot shake off for him, sorry to his mum!)
The ebb and flow of dog hiking activity was evident today, they were so awesome! We moseyed along, sniffing here and there, then someone would have an energy burst and a few minutes of yipping and romping about would ensue, then each dog would chill out and trot along calmly again, before the next bout - so funny to watch. Each dog took turns to lead today as well, I love to see that, and it's funny to see them do it so politely, almost as if they had a prior agreement. Bos started out up front, then Finn, Ever was next, then Kayla, who normally dances at my feet when she's not sniffing took the lead towards then end of the hike. We did not have too many stops to play today, the vibe was chilled and everyone seemed to enjoy the 'steady state' exercise (me included!). Good times, great travel, four of my good buddies (you can class a dog a good buddy after the first 20mins I reckon!)...here are some more shots:
Galloping about, did someone say Squirrel?!
Another sweet day with cool dogs in an amazing place - see ya all tomorrow, arooo!
