Billie Jean got adopted!!!

Today was a sad but super happy day for Billie Jean! After 6 months of being in the shelter, a family came to see her from Burnaby on the weekend and today she went off to her forever home! I had tears in my eyes...I couldn't help it. She wanted love so bad and a family that could give her tons of exercise it seems like her call is finally here.

Oh Billie... The first day we took her on a hike, she refused to get in the truck. All fours in front saying "no way I'm trusting you freakshow!" And now look at her! Thanks to all the training and caring the staff at WAG put in...she is a happier dog as she deserves to be. I'm so happy for her! We are really hoping her new owners will bring her back up to see us again. Maybe for the DogFest on April 24th? Hmmm, hopefully they are reading the blog!

Anyway...Jasper, Jayda and I had to come to WAG to say our goodbyes and then we went off on a huge, thigh deep adventure! Jasper's parents I'm sure have found him passed out on the floor- that little guy worked so hard through that snow. It was tough but very rewarding!
