After what seemed like a 45 minute straight gallop round the spur, we popped out behind Crater Rim..and climbed! It was soooooo beautiful

...and again, we played about and cooled off all round the lake, then I noticed the time so we ran all the way back down to the truck for home...man, my glutes are feeeeeling that! Was awesome awesomeness...yes that's terrible English but too tired to think of the correct words to describe an amazing hike!
