Snow and Sunshine...a beautiful day

Wow...soft, light perfect powder covered the crusty solid crud at last...travel is still good as we only had 10-12 cms, but things are warmer, the lakes and forests look like a Disney winter wonderland animation, and the dogs were as stoked as me!! Poor Bud is taking  rest waiting for his paw to heal...he cracked it! That darn solid ice is all I can think of, as we have a ramp in and out of the truck, and we didn't jump off anything or rage around on the ice...so upset, but his mom tells me the family are home for the holidays anyway, so Buddy will chill with his family for a while - we miss ya Bud! 
So our day consisted of a great time with the dogs...in true Canine Energy style we rolled in and ate the lovely pow, and hiked round spectacular lakes, forests and trails...got some awesome shots...will post a bunch today...remember to click on them to enlarge!

Billie Jean from WAG is so pretty! And Ever and Skip delight in the white stuff.

Ha ha! Ever reads....I love this shot of her! They then seemed super interested in something in the snow, noses down, paws digging...it turned out to be something's poo! Ha ha, I did not let anyone eat it, I think it may have been a bunny as it was nuggety and small, and Skip went into a flurry of barking shortly after, and we saw some tracks in the snow crossing our paths. No bunny to be seen though, just his little offering:

Then it was time to quit taking pictures and get on with the hike!

..."Will you hurry up, we are ready to go again!"
