Old Dogs Rock!

So amongst the usual suspects of Spanks and Harmony, Bosley, Jayda, Finn, and Kayla...we had Theo join us today, who is probably the oldest dog I have had in the pack with Canine Energy. Old dogs rock, I love them. I love their gentle and wise countenance and how you feel they know what you are thinking when they look at you. Theo is on the deaf side so I had the longline but quite honestly he didn't need it...he was awesome! He mooched along, and at times got a load of speed up as he swung along with his smooth trotting gait, ears flapping gently and legs swinging along like a trotting race horse. The others sniffed him gently (Even Bos) and showed him respect - as we all should with our elders, and Finn really took a shine to him with lots of gentle sniffs intermingled with a whole bunch of Arooooo's today! Yup Finny was stoked and on fine form! So here are the shots of the day!
Theo - an absolute sweetheart approx 15yrs old!
Dear Finn and Theo bonded so well - wonder if they are old friends?
Starting out...
 Climbing higher...
Kayla likes to jump up on this rock and bark at the world!
 Heading for the fun stuff...
Kayla and Finn got the party started - check out Finn's Extenda-paw! (click to enlarge)
 Then off they went!
Then it was into the forests...
Time for a drink
We took a break on a mossy bank, where Bos, Spanks, Harmony and Jayda had another gallop, Kayla dropped fir cones at my feet and looked all cute at me, and Theo and Finn came in for a cuddle, I grabbed a shot of Finn - he was so loving - I love the way dogs lean on you, so special. What a sweetheart Finn!
Bos came in to get his breath back!
Then we carried on our merry way
Back on the fsr we stopped to wait for SPanks and Harmony who were splashing in more puddles..check out Bosley's expression - he looks like he needs a pipe in his mouth "...Elementary my dear Watson...' hahahaha I also love the awesome doggy grin from Theo
Here they come!
A split second before this shot they were all looking up - ah well, can't capture all the best shots!!
.Headin' home
See you all tomorrow, the little, big, old and totally awesome darlings! AroooooOOOoOooo!
